Picture of swing out toolbox

Does anyone have a picture of the actual Ford swing out toolbox for the Maverick. I assume it's made to fit close to the wheelwells and shaped for the Maverick.

The undercover version seems shaped specifically for the maverick.

Do both ford and undercover have equal box locking and box to bed security?

I like the fact that it is removable. I did not know that before watching the video. Most times the tool box would come in handy, in other situations it would be in the way. Nice to know it is easy to remove.

On another note, it’s worthless!

The replacement truck I was sold (my original was sold by the dealer) had one included in the invoice. It arrived a few weeks later. The price included install but I didn’t want to be without a vehicle all day so I just picked it up. Listed for sale since I didn’t need it but no one would buy it so had my husband install. It was easy.

The “lock” is flimsy and doesn’t stay in place. I would definitely not put anything of value in it. I use it to store my reusable grocery bags and collapsible bowl for my dog.

I installed passenger side this weekend. Like you, I keep odds and ends in the box. It can always be removed easily.

Short description: Relatively useless and way overpriced. Get one!
