is that a spray on or drop in bed liner? I have the factory drop in and was looking at these. Says you have to cut some of the liner to install it.@Realtruck swing case toolbox install

Only drill into the cubby screw hole enough to tap the plastic & barely touch the metal. Once you hit metal, test the spacer with the included screw. It doesn’t take much so be patience & use only as much force as needed; be delicate.
If you have a spray in bed-liner, before installing the bracket that holds the box itself (the one you reinstall the tie down point to) that you then run the brace bracket through the the taillight, drill out the two holes in the bed that the reinforcement bracket will pass through. I think I used a 5/16 bit but your mileage will vary.
