truck bed toolbox

Anyone considering putting a locking toolbox in the bed? Not the swing out accessory but the kind that goes up against the front wall of the bed. Thinking metal for security. Bonus points if it fits under a tonneau if that's even feasible.

Looking for suggestions from people with experience using these.

I looked everywhere for over the rail toolbox but none fit yet. Talked to a local supplier and he said i may have to wait about 6 months to a year for one that fits correctly. I said perfect that’s just about the time i figured i take delivery of my truck.

Yeah, I know, just hoping someone with prior experience here would chime in about good brands, what to avoid, etc. Even with a tonneau i dont trust the bed as secure and the cubby is too small for tools & stuff.

I would shop around and look at aluminum boxes, they come in all shapes and sizes.
