Phenomanal breed. Ours tore her CCL in May and it was the most miserable recovery for both of us. If it was dog behavior she was restricted from doing it. Now I pick her up in and out of the car because i'm not confident in the repair and don't like her jumping.

Oh no, sorry to hear that. Yeah, this working breed... she'll throw her self at a wall if it means catching her frisbee mid air

When in the truck I have the harnesses on the dogs, the hammock has an opening so the seatbelt snaps into the factory holder and the other end snaps on the collar. It works really well, my pups can move around a bit but not end up on the windshield if there is a wreck.

Thanks for the info and the link. I hadn't thought of a seatbelt. I had a Forester when Buttercup came home to me and replaced it with the Outback 3.5 years ago. I've always had a safety fence keeping her in the back of the car. That won't be an option in a SuperCab I guess.

You can already see Norman in my avatar so I will drop this little gem. This is Marvin, one of my Tarahumara Mountain Dwarf Boas. This is a locality bred boa that stays right around 3’ (Norman is now 7’- same species). His partner is Tammi, named by one of my fifth graders for “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”…clever right? Anyway, we have 11 snakes in our classroom- but I won’t get crazy

Livvy, her daddy is a Great Pyrenees and momma is a Catahoula. Eighty pounds, as sweet as can be and is a coyote killing machine. Five to date. Raised all ten pups, kept her and found good homes for the others.

I live on a 200 acre cattle ranch here in SW Missouri and coyotes are a problem. Open season on them year round. But no matter how many are killed it does not make a dent in their population. They just breed themselves out of it.

The other end of the ranch where my son lives has three GP, two Catahoula, and two mutts. All good dogs and do a great job of keeping the coyotes away. One of the mutts adopted the chickens and won't let anything get near them. How cool is that?

Yes it fits perfect, a little long on the sides but just adds more coverage. It's not the prettiest thing, but it's super easy to unhook and store under the seats if I ever need humans back there instead.

Also the one I linked comes with 2 seatbelts that hook into the car's slots.

I have a pet cover as well.

The sides zip up and it attaches at the grab handle on the roof to protect the door panels.

I also use the seat belts that snap into their harness and use the female seatbelt clip.

They are on Amazon for $25-$50.

I bought the cover and seat belts separate.
