Passenger Seat Rattle Fix?

Hey all,

Randomly around 30k my Maverick passenger seat started to have this constant rattle/ticking sound? I’ve found that placing some foam in the below photo and putting some pressure on the track stops the rattle. Without the foam, simply pressing on the seat a little stops it.

I can’t seem to figure out where it’s coming from though? Giving the seat a shake doesn’t reproduce it. Only when driving.

The seat rails are designed to slowly loosen over time. This is based on the assumption that French fries and other debris will find its way to this area. Otherwise, the wedged debris will create excess tension on the rails and the seat won't adjust properly.

At least in theory.

If you can pop off the small cover by the rail, there's probably a nut there that can be tightened.

Maybe tighten the bolt on the console.

For the left front trim. It has a screw where the seat bolts to floor and screw from behind.
But maybe something else in the track is worn/loose.
