Painted Wheels + Michelin Cross Climate 2s

Very happy with Michelin cross climate 2s after 15 months. I bumped up to 235 width from the pathetic little factory 225s that look like narrow spare tires. Sanded wheels and painted with 2 coats of Rustoleum black semi-gloss and held up perfect for 15 months here in northern MA. Much better road feel with the Cross Climates and only lost 2-3% on MPG.

interested to hear how they do in the winter on snow/ice. I used to do the winter tire thing but storing a full set of tires is annoying.

They were very good this past winter. No issues. Big improvement over pathetic factory tires.

Nearly every trim comes with stock 225/65R17. I'd go up to 245s but I have the hybrid afterall.

Those tires have become very popular here in Michigan for the winters. They seem to be pushed hard also by every tire shop. They may be good but I can’t get past the looks. lol

Like you correct the tire size! 235 and 245's both look good enough
