Painted calipers?

Anybody painted or planning on painting their calipers? Would love to see some examples and products used. Going to do mine but won’t be able to remove all four wheels at once. I want to do it right. Thoughts on having it done or using covers?

The fx4 rims do show off the disks and calipers pretty well. The trouble is, they aren't really anything special. If you put some uber hot aftermarket calipers on there you might want to show them off, but what's the point with the stock calipers?

That said, I kind of want to do it.

Mainly just don’t want them nasty and rusted. May just do por15 black.

They come painted white IIRC and don't look bad as is. One you have been running them for a while it may be a different story. They all wind up charcoal grey from crud sooner or later unless you take pains to keep them clean.

Ah, good to know. I’m pretty good at an annual scrub of them so that may work.

Very easy to do and looked fantastic.
