Ordering times for EcoBoost XLT Lux Package

I ordered an XLT w/ lux on 1/13/22 with order confirmation the same day. Hasn’t been that long at all for me yet but I didn’t get any other options like AWD or FX4. I’m curious to see if mine takes any longer/shorter than people who ordered more options. Reading through the forum it seems like most people who got the Lux package also got at least one other package.

Mine is similar to yours, but with the Copilot360, so I wonder if mine will take half a year or so to arrive because both are constrained.

I am curious about the order confirmation. I ordered mine now 2-3 months ago, I am not even sure. But I have never been emailed an order confirmation for the truck at all....

check to make sure your dealer used your email address for communications- instead of his. That's somewhat common around here. Surprised you don't even remember when you ordered your truck?

I ordered almost the exact build on the same day XLT Lux AWD eco with Fx4 on 11/3 and just the order confirmation with a side crickets since.

My order was confirmed Oct. 25th with spray-in liner changed Jan. 17th to a drop-in liner and received a build date on Jan. 28th of March 14 and then last Friday received my first official email from Ford directly informing me that the build date has been pushed back to March 22nd. I am left wondering if changing to the drop-in liner made the difference.

So by changing to a drop in liner you lost the entire XLT Lux package, yes? I would do that in a second if I didn't lose the Lux package.

I have a perfectly good truck now, and when I ordered it was before I knew about all of the delays. I honestly thought it might be 6-8 weeks and hadn't thought about it a lot as to not be anxious all the time. Now I am more anxious LOL. I hope I can get the truck before the end of the year...

No .... not at all. My dealer had it changed from spray in to drop in and the following week it was scheduled. I changed it to drop in for two reasons .... 1. According to various youtube sites they noted that the entire industry was having shortages of the spray material and changing to a drop-in would put it in production quicker. 2. Look on the official Ford Build your own website .... they are only offering the drop-in liners and on the XLT Lux package it has a drop-in liner. No more spray-in liner. So who knows. I really would prefer the spray in.

I posted earlier that I thought I would be looking at a Easter Maverick. Who would have thought now that I would be hopeful for a Maverick before the summer.
