I really like my Ford dealer and they were obviously willing to work with me. Trouble is they had nothing in stock and dealers here are not trading Mavericks. So that meant ordering one. I wasn't doing that again.

That is so true ... Most of Ford's recent recalls involve "recalibrating the computer".

I agree with you. I have voiced that to my dealer. When it goes into stop mode that's when this occurs. Then a few weeks ago when Ford announced the recall of 452,000 Bronco Sports and 52,000 Maverick loss of power while driving ... I thought bingo. My Truck is not one in involved in the recall...

I love the color. It is retro 1975. I wish the Mfg's would change up their color pallets to include some of the popular colors from the '60s and '70s. It is so boring with gray, silver or white or some slight variation.

Go to Car Max and Carvana ... CarMax had the higher trade-in value. It was very acceptable to me ... I had 14K equity and the difference between what I paid was 20%. Nissan was 24,500 until I showed them the CarMax offer of $26K ..... they didn't blink and the deal got done.

Glad things worked out rather smoothly. My order is the same truck except for color. Ordered 10/25 ... Production date 1st date 3/14 then 3/28 then 3/21 ... Built date 3/28. Arrival date 1st date 4/15-4/22 ... now after that date passed received a date now of 4/27-5/3 ... Still waiting...

Good for you. My Mav was ordered on 10/25 ... was built as of yesterday 3/28 and will arrive 4/14 -4/20.

After reading and watching the vids all I got from it was Ram is bringing out a mid-size frame on truck to compete with Ranger, Colorado, Tacoma, etc. . Ram has had nothing in the market to fill that bill since 2011.

I changed colors twice before the production was assigned. Original Hot Pepper... to Velocity Blue ... then to "no color :)" Cactus Gray. Cactus Gray Mav being built on March 28.
