I put in an order with a Ford dealer on Dec 2. Should I have received an email from Ford ?

The dealer isn't in my city where I live. Think I should have gone to the one in my city. Sounds like someone didn't do their job.

Yes, something is wrong. I put an order in a few days ago. Got my order confirmation from Ford within 30 minutes.

Did they copy your dl and get $500 from you? I ordered in october, gave them everything they wanted, never got the email. They confirmed twice with ford is has been submitted.

Yes, gave them all info. Paid $500 down. Have receipt and copy of order. I did talk to the sales person today . He said the order was sent, but they did not hear anything back from Ford. He said they would check into it. Kind of strange.

I called Ford Marketing Dept. 1-800-334-4375. They confirmed they have my order. Thank you to the member that posted the number.

I ordered a hybrid Lariat with the deluxe package on Sept. 2. I've confirmed with Ford customer service that they received the order and was eventually told I would not receive an email until I had a VIN. The last time I checked, a week or so ago, I was told it was still "in planning".
I had a similar problem up until this week. I ordered on 12/08/2021. My is an XLT FX4 with tow package. Luckily just got my production week which is 03/14/2022. I didn't add a lot for extra accessories though so maybe that is the hold up on yours. You should get an update in a couple weeks I would suppose.

Glad to hear people are getting build dates. I ordered XLT EcoBoost AWD with Tow package, Moon Roof, Hard Trifold Tonneau Cover, Bed Extender, 17" Alloy Wheels. I guess any of these options could hold the buildup. I was mostly concerned that my order was in because, I was not hearing anything after 50 days. At least now I know they have my order. I now have a sales code and order code.
Place my order Jun 16th and have yet to receive an email from Ford. Confirmed with salesman 3x that my email is correct. Truck is currently “In production” and has been since Jan 8th.
