Order Update: Your Maverick XLT is still being built

Hey, I just got an email update from Ford saying my truck is still being built and is experiencing unexpected delays. Anyone have any information on what’s going on or if you’re experiencing the same? For reference, I ordered a ‘24 XLT Hybrid Lux on 5/31/24, scheduled 8/26, in production 8/30, modules populated 8/30, tear tag issued 9/1. I contacted my dealer and am waiting on their response, but was curious to see if this is widespread or just mine.

Not received an email (yet). My Lariat 2.0 with 4K tow (ordered 8/22/23) was scheduled for the week of 9/2. Showed in production date of last Friday till late yesterday when it changed to 9/5/24 and is still the same. What is a tear tag???

From my understanding, when a Tear Tag # populates at the top, that’s one of the final signals indicating your truck is built. Just weird that there is a delay of some sort

Thanks..... Got Tear tag of FVFO.... Looked at the file it said to download and it has 3 full lines of error codes, with the tear tag information showing at the end. Many of the error codes were in the 600 range, some said data not found. lol.

I have that Tear Tag. "HLHC" But it still does not show Built and the order update has not been updated for 3 days. Modules populated last Monday. It is Friday now. I guess it will get here when it gets here. After Built I was told it goes into inspection then transports on Rail to the Lords Plant in Ohio then to my dealer.. I wonder how long that takes?

Interesting. I’m curious because it seems like even the builds a week ago were built and shipped within a day. I know people have waited wayyyy longer, but it is still frustrating. I hope things get rolling soon

As long as your PCM and BCE modules are populated on the site (I’m not sure about the downloadable file) then it should be almost done or done

Status on my 2024 2.0/4k Lariat has been changed to builT 9/6/24. Estimated delivery to dealer is 10/5 - 10/11.. Can't wait. Well, already have been... Was ordered 8/22/23... UGH !!!!!!

The 2024 XLT Hybrid ordered in July was built and shipped the same day - SEP-04. It's already on the way to the dealership.

It's Carbonized Gray with the Co-pilot 360 and Tow Packages. I won't be buying it so send me a direct message if interested.

Possibly a backordered part, one small part could hold up production, if you think about how many parts it takes to build a truck, amazing, there not going to stop a production line for a piece of trim or who knows what and send everyone home for a few days They keep the line going and park it outside till the part comes. Am sure your not the only one.

Finally shows that it is Built. Now It looks like at least 3 weeks to transport from what i have seen with others to NE.

Nice! Mines still in production. I contacted Ford and they said it has returned from the body shop and has an ETA of 9/27-10/3, but still not sure of the hold up. 3 weeks transport is pretty good!
