So I ordered a Mav on Dec 28th, the dealer said once they have the VIN they will send it to me and I’ll be able to track it. Would I be correct in assuming the VIN isn’t generated until it’s scheduled for production? Just curious how exactly it works.

And for anyone curious, ordered Lariat Lux w/ moonroof and 4K tow, cactus grey

To clarify, I don’t have a VIN yet.

Was just looking to confirm if you get the VIN as soon as it’s scheduled, or if it’s before/after
