Have you considered looking in your owners manual or looking on Fords website?

Do you mean the Rear Occupant Alert or some other system?
I’m not sure all I know is Road Master makes note of it as Passenger Alert Device or PAD. Sounds like it’s an option but to what I’m not sure yet.

As stupid as it might seem yes. The reason is the flat toll mechanism made by Road Master shows a picture of it and I’m inquisitive enough I wanted to know what it does so how would I know if they don’t put it back on.

Go it. So you're looking to install a flat tow baseplate. The actual device they're referring to is the Pedestrian Alert Device which all hybrids are equipped with. It's located behind the driver's side front lower bumper approximately about the embossed rectangular area. If they were to not install it then the vehicle wouldn't make the humming noise in drive, beep in reverse, and likely set a DTC as it's a monitored safety device.

Cool that’s what I needed. Have you had a Road master base plate installed on your hybrid?
