I ordered 10/22 XLT hybrid alto Blue with copilot and still no build date.
I ordered on the same day 10/22 and still no build date. Mine is an XL Hybrid, CP360, Cactus Grey. The last time I talked with Ford CS was before the order date change from 8/2 to mid Sept and they told me then it was only a 1 % chance of getting a 22 model.

Same thing here, dealer says waiting on a chip before they put on a train….

Odd, because I was able to use the module codes chart here on the forums and I saw activity for all the ones in my trim level on the Motorcraft site.

Ordered on 10/20/21 - Lariat hybrid lux 360 - received build week (8/22) and VIN via email 2 Fridays ago. Build week got booted to 8/29 yesterday, so you 10/22/21 guys are close - I think. Cheers!

It makes you wish (if it were possible) every manufacturer would release a "low chip" or "no chip" model that is manufactured in the same way that cars were made in the 1980s just so they could keep shipping vehicles. Obviously safety requirements/emissions requirements make this impossible among other things (not to mention customer expectations!). Also I suppose that as soon as you don't need chips, you run out of something else causing it to be a constraint. I recently purchased a 1985 F250 diesel and I can't begin to describe the satisfaction of being able to fix so much on that vehicle with nothing but a crescent wrench, a flat head screw driver and a filter wrench.

Those old vehicles were a thing of beauty. It's almost a shock to look under the hood and be able to trace every single component and have plenty of room to work!

As for the chip holds, this was all stuff we never used to see before we had custom orders. Whatever the dealer had on the lot you bought and you had no idea how long it took to produce. The chip thing is a new issue and hopefully unique. When Ford's new US chip fab plant comes online in '25 the shortages will be a distant memory.

Congrats! I ordered on 10/22 and from all of the posts on here about Hybrid's dead batteries, long wait times to get repairs and dealerships not providing loaners, I'm actually hoping I do get pushed to a 23 model. Maybe things will be better.
