Odd Maverick 'in Transit' Routing

My dealership is in Connecticut, and the routing my maverick has gone through seem unusual. All locations were given by ford chat and by rail: It went Hermosillo, Mx -> East St. Louis, IL -> Selkirk (Albany, NY) -> Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI. Now its being shipped by convoy to Connecticut with an earlier delivery date then originally told.

Confused as to why my maverick is currently at Ford Dearborn Assembly. Anyone else seeing this kind of routing? Possible chips or recalls being done in Michigan? I suppose Dearborn is a hub of deliveries, but MI to CT seems an awfully long way.

Nope. It’s because there is rail exchange there and tons of vehicles pass through there to catch a ride on a hauler.

Looks like mine has been sitting at the yard in KC awaiting a truck since Oct 19.

The original delivery window was 21 to 28 October. Looks like more waiting...
