No VIN or updates

So I ordered my Lariat Hybrid back on October 21, and have yet to receive an update. I reached out to Ford on 48th day to see if I missed anything and they basically just gave me a cookie cutter email. Now I’m seeing people who have ordered a month later get scheduling dates. Does anyone know a reason behind this or have suggestions?

Go to your dealer and ask for your order sheet. It should have the Order Code and Sales Code on it. Then talk to FORD again to see if there is a VIN# or any other updates. Thats where I would start.

Yep. It comes down to dealer allocations and your priority code. Check with your dealership.

It’s not weird at all. It has to do with dealer allocations and your priority code.

Nothing weird. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Allocations are a beech! I ordered my Lariat Hybrid on August 23rd and finally got a build date for Jan. 6th in November.

For you, it wasn’t allocations. You have quite a speedy timeline for getting built seeing as they did not start production until the second week of November. You basically just missed the first round of scheduling but are firmly in job 1.

If I were you I’d be thankful for the allocations your dealer had that afforded you such a quick turnaround.

I had the same thing happen. I ordered my Lariat hybrid awd at the begining of August. Never heard anything. Talked to my dealer rep and he said fords site sucks right now. He gavee my order number and vin and was able to log in to Fords website to see all the details.picked my truck up two days ago
