No nav, iffy connetivity

New to the group. 2024 Maverick XLT. Love it so far after aging out of my F-150. Only disappointment is lack of Nav. I live in the boondocks and connectivity through Android Auto is spotty but nav on the phone works fine. Can I run Android Auto for nav and still use the trucks radio?

Works because your phone has connectivity. I use google maps as my navigator.

If you're losing cell signal, download Offline Maps for areas you frequently use maps. Offline is in Google Maps settings.

Sometimes, if you put a route into GMaps, if there is spotty cell service along the route, Maps will tell you, and ask if you'd like to download the route. It will automatically switch to offline, when needed. It works well except for traffic info, which needs a mobile data connection.

My issue is more with losing radio streaming. I listen to two stations all the time and play them through their apps.
