No more First Edition builds for 22?

I just watched Johnny's video from a few days ago and he mentioned that there was something from Ford saying that any First Editions still outstanding without a VIN will NOT be built this year.

@fordvideoguy Have you heard anything about this? Assuming you might bring it up in tonight's stream, but wanted to see.

This is the exact opposite of what has been assumed that they MUST be built this year. Is Ford now throwing in the towel and just abandoning the rest of them? I figured part of the reason they gave that 7/8 deadline to make changes was to make sure they had enough parts to build the rest of the First Editions.

They are scheduling First Editions in the United States, don't remove the package. Remember that Johny is in Canada and his list is based on Canada production. In many cases they are the same but not in this case.

Gotcha. Yes I forgot he was in Canada. That's good to hear then.

Don't worry, you can just resubmit your order for a 2023 Second Edition and get priority over all those plebes who didn't have the good sense to order a 2022.
