Just wanted to give a shoutout to my dealer/salesman and let everyone know that he would be happy to order for anyone, without any markups over MSRP.

A little background:

I ordered my Maverick 2.0 AWD on 8/9/21. I had my confirmation email in minutes. My Maverick was scheduled for production on 8/12/21. On 10/18, I got the email saying my Maverick had been built (Build actually started on 10/14/21) My Maverick was shipped on 10/20 and is finally in my home state of SC. Depending on how long it takes to get off the railcar and to my dealer, I should be able to pick it up pretty soon!

I can't guarantee everyone will have as good an experience as I have, but I do know that my dealer will NOT charge any ADM/markup over MSRP on ordered vehicles. He also let me know that he would be happy to order for anyone! All I had to do, is put 29501 in the zip code field when I ordered my Maverick and chose him.

If you want to contact him, here's his info:

Steve Collins
Mike Reichenbach Ford
601 N. Coit St.
Florence, SC 29501
His number is: 843-617-3455

If nothing else, give him a call and see what he can do for you! He's a stand-up guy and will treat you right! You can let him know that Gary sent you!

In all honesty, He's nowhere near my "Local" Ford dealer. He came highly recommended to me and made my 302 mile round trip to pick up my Maverick well-worth it!

Edit: Forgot to include the fact that my order required $0 deposit!

Seems like all we hear about is greedy dealers. Maybe we should have this thread on deals that went good. Not all dealers are alike. I ordered July 2nd from Phil Long Ford in Raton, NM. Both Ford and the dealership kept me informed with the Echo boost XLT arriving October 11th. When It arrived i spoke by phone and reaffirmed by e-mail I wanted NO dealer badging and also nothing I hadn't already been offered and agreed to. It was smooth as silk. Less than 1'30" and that included the test drive. I did have to fight against a "theft deterrent system" but actually got a refund. No dealer markup and MSRP. The dealer handling fees were a little steep ($698) but that was all. I was actually impressed and do recommend them. The AMTRAK station is right behind the dealership.

AGREED. I had a fantastic experience with Ed Simpson at Chapman Ford in Philly. Easy to work with, under invoice pricing. A thread of "great dealerships" would be helpful to those still in the market.

Another great dealer is Granger Ford in Granger, Iowa. I got 3% below INVOICE price and low doc fees. They have very quick with responses to my inquiries.
