Hello to all.....
I just wanted to pop on here and introduce myself. I am a female senior citizen with a huge love of cars/trucks/motorcycles......I am a hands on type of person when it comes to my vehicles. I have built 3 custom show cars thru the years, first being a 1974 Mustang II hatchback......second build was a 1923 T-Bucket kit car.....the engine was built by Kenny Schrader racing especially for this car.....the third build is my current show car.....2005 PT Cruiser GT Turbo Convertible......this car is probably my favorite out of all the others, it's fast and it's a looker....and last but not least is my 1966 CA77 Honda Dream motorcycle......it came to me in boxes and hadn't ran in over 20 yrs.....did I mention I love a challenge!! My new passion/love is my 2023 Maverick Hybrid Lariat......cyber orange.....and I just love the looks that it gets.....anyway I am excited to find this club and grateful to be accepted as a member. I look forward to learning all I can about these beautiful trucks! I am including a few pics of my past and present vehicles......

What motor in the Mustang II? Had a 1974 Mach 1 Mustang II. Was white with the lower body in avocado green along with the interior. Had the Cologne V6 (2.8L), standard on the floor. My mother liked the car so much she traded her (original) Mav for a 1975, but the V6 was not available as an automatic, so she upgraded to the V8 (I think it was a 4.9L). That thing flew. hahaha

Welcome to the club, glad to see someone bestowing love on a couple of underloved vehicles; I think of the Mustang II as a vehicle for its time. Coming out the '73 oil embargo and price hikes. It should be remembered for more than just its hot rod useable front end. The PT Cruiser was also a car for its time in that it brought much needed attention by common folk to Chrysler at a time when they needed an affordable hot seller besides a Minivan. Spent much of my thirties living in the Hampton Roads area, I did like it, but Uncle Sam had other ideas. My '87 Ranger was purchased in Suffolk.

If there hadn't been the II there would not be Mustangs today. It saved the brand from extinction.

Cant really agree with that but as another said, it had its place.
Shelby Mustang could never be extinct 🩷
