New truck smell...

Anybody else find the "new truck" smell of the Maverick a bit odd? Like it smells of new plastic, not like new vehicles used to smell.

Plastic with soy and hints of fish. Not a normal new truck smell.

My Lariat with Active X seats just smelled lightly of seat vinyl. That's it. No new car smell, and that vinyl smell faded quickly. Like 1500 miles.

Yeah, I normally really enjoy that 'new car smell' but it is a feature that is largely absent from the Mav.

Yes, does not smell good at all. I wish I could get rid of it. It smells like somebody at the old folks home got a new shipment of blow-up pool toys.
