I ordered the new Weathertech Techliner and Tailgate liner from Weathertech. I ordered last week and arrived at my doorstep today.
Techliner
This was a very simple install. There are two circular punch out pieces that are cut out with a box knife. That is where the Techliner is “locked” with the included ball end adapters. The liner is put in place. The male ball end adapter is placed through the hole and then attached to the bed with double sided tape. The ends are covered with cover circular cover plate the locks into the adapter. Very easy( feel free to insert any NSFW jokes about the adapters)
Tailgate Techliner
Essentially remove the (8) bolts in the center of the tailgate. Place cover over that and retighten with the supplied new washers. The top of the liner is placed in a channel supplied be WT. the caller is taped (3m double sided) to the top portion of the tailgate. The bottom of the liner is held secured with Velcro.
Installation is a little tricker to align the top of the liner into the top channel but took about 20minutes total.
The Techliner has some give then a typical drop in liner and is comfortable when you walk on it. All and all, another well made (and US made) product.
Excuse the dirty shoe marks
