Is this related to the truck rolling forward six inches when I let off the foot brake, even though the parking brake is on and the transmission is in Park, that the dealer said was normal?

Parallel parking on hills is white-knuckle stuff with the lags in gear and brake engagement.

Also I just got my letter Saturday... it states "Software is not available" so how are y'all at the front of the line?

I just received this. Mine is a 2025 Hybrid XLT. Take a look

I'm not at the front of the line, I got the letter on the mail 2 days ago. I do have the carfax app to keep track of the diy maintenance and thats how I got notified and made the post.

Oh my mistake, should have specified that it was HenrysDad that posted the receipt for their fix.

I simply called my dealer, they said the updates available. I took it in. I haven’t even gotten a letter yet, just saw the recall in my Ford App, which has now gone away since I’ve had it completed.

Should be NO movement if the EPB is on, except the shift in weight when you remove foot from brake. Either front up or down depending on up/down hill.

And even if no EPB - 6" a lot for Parking pawl grab, on pre-25MY anyway.

I called my dealer to schedule the recall work, related again that this is happening, and that I've got the EBB noise (popping from the booster or MC assembly), which just started this past Sunday.

They said they need me to leave the truck for three days for diagnosis, could be longer if parts aren't on hand, and there's no loaner coverage. Said they'd call me back with my slot to drop off. That was Monday. Crickets.
