Picked up my new Maverick XLT, 2.0, last Friday. The vehicle was ordered in Sept. 2022 and I felt very lucky to make the one week when orders were open for the 2023 trucks. Now I feel lucky that mine was delivered before this ridiculous strike!

I found a wire and socket in a plastic bag, in the glove box. What is this for?

Welcome to the Forum! Congrats on your build (must provide photos). You can use those wires for connecting any 12Volt accessory to the back 12v supply (like in the video above). There is also a white funnel looking thing, for putting gas in the truck (via gas can). Best of luck with your new Maverick!

Hopefully you don't ever need the funnel. But keep it in your car in case you somehow happen to run out of gas. You can also store it in the storage area under the back seat. Hopefully your dealer at least showed you that.

On the top Brown Bar, click on your member name, Then go to Account Details (3rd one down on the left) your photo goes under "Avatar". I hope this helps!
You can go to signature and type in info about your order - As I did for Mav#1 & Mav#2
