Hello.
I joined this forum to learn more about ordering a Maverick. Looking forward to August when ordering opens up.

From what I gave read, it's a good idea to order though a large dealership as they get more allocations.

Im in NE Illinois and stopped by my local dealership in Gurnee this past weekend. The salesman said to give him a call in August. He didnt say mych about the pricesd other than having to order through a dealership and no down payment. I looked for reviews online and came across some bad reviews for them specifically involving Mavericks.

Will be researching a larger and more reputable dealership. Grateful for any recommendations.

Welcome to the forum. Mavericks are a rare beast these days. There is lots of information, tips and modifications discussed. Feel free to ask anyone questions you might have. As far as dealerships... expand your range and visit as many as you can. Persistence and patience seem to be the main factors chasing one of these down. You might get lucky, a few on here have. Even so, August is not too far away.... but, my goodness, there are going to be a lot of people in line waiting for that door to open.

My dealer a bit south of you in Willowbrook seems pretty good but staying local is probably better. It's gonna be a wait but it will be worth it.
After you order with the dealer make sure he makes it official and gets you in the que.

Golf Mill will not sell at MSRP. They're also not good at communicating details or updates from my experience.
