Hello All

Picked up a 2025 Tremor when trading in a 2204 Maverick Lariat. For me it was a major upgrade.

The driver’s seat is much more comfortable. It’s supportive and eliminates the knee problem that many on this site have noted. At 5’ 8” my left knee no longer drifts onto the door handle. The seat is also more supportive.

Technology was a driver in deciding for the Tremor. I wanted the larger screens, wireless CarPlay and the 360 cameras.

When test driving the Tremor, it was quieter, smoother shifting and smoother over the local roads. It is tuned differently from the Lariat as low end torque was immediately noticeable.

The off-road tires sing on the highway. These may get replaced as I don’t plan to go off road.

As for me, at age 78 fishing, boating and road trips are major sources for enjoyment. The boat weighs in at 1,800 lbs. When buying the Tremor, I failed to research towing until after the purchase. The Tremor is rated for 2,000 lbs., not the 4,000 lbs. of the Lariat. After a lot of digging the decrease in capacity is due to the smaller space for the larger radiator included in the tow package. The Tremor’s off-road enhancements do not permit the 4,000 lb. tow package. Luckily, the 2,000 lb. capacity is OK for my needs.

Overall, the Tremor is far more comfortable and fun to drive.

Was always wondering if Ford would still be in business in 2204.....just hope the design for the Ford Warp Drive is picked by Starfleet.

You got a Tremor, you love fishing, but don’t plan on going off road, in a Tremor? To get to some of my favourite fishing holes, I have to go off road in my FX4. 😉 Anyway welcome, and enjoy, nice truck.

Welcome to the Club.

Out of curiosity how much money did you lose on trading in a one year old car? I mean you gotta lose money right otherwise we would all be trading up after one year.

Yes I paid up. For me it was high value. In my younger years I would not have done this.
