Hello, as many I’m still
Waiting on my xl 2.0 awd mav.
Can’t wait to get this thing and start modding it. I can’t decide to go up or down.
I would like up for off roading and such several times a year when i go to CO or Texas for fun. And of course Michigan winters. But I really also want to lower it because most of my driving is on the street and I’d love to make a few laps while at the track. Springs and sway bars would help a lot. I could use a spare pair of rims and tires from my focus rs and be good to go.

Hurting feeling in this would be even better than my 1.3 l rotary.
Here is a little video of my rs fun. I can’t wait to get a video of this in the maverick.

My son lowered his 2018 Honda Civic and has regretted it ever since. Poor road handling and every bump pushes the tires into the fenders. He is getting ready to sell it and will be reinstalling the stock suspension. The Mav is not what I would consider a true off roader. Its a unibody truck meant for light duty use. I leave the light off roading here in Texas to my Ford Excursion 4x4 PSD.

Not all lowering is equal. I’ve got my focus lowered on eibach and doing suspensions for a living at one point I’m ok with it. Second I know it’s not a real truck I have an f-150 for that but I can also say I’ve been very impressed with the awd system in the edge I own. And anything can off-road. That’s part the fun, not knowing if you will make it. Texas is a lot of rock. I prefer the smaller truck through the tight stuff.
Still not sure which way to go but I can tell you I feel much better about beating up a 28k truck than a 50k.
I actually only bought one cause the value I’ll get compared to my f-150.
