New Maverick

I just got my new 2026 Maverick Thursday and so far it's awesome. Lots of new technology to get used to but Sammy (As in Sammy Hagar the RED ROCKER) is a sweet ride.
I will need to redo my Forscan to change a few things and have a large list of stuff to buy for him.
My other truck is a 2020 Ranger SCAB Lucille (as in BB Kings Guitar Lucille) to tow my trailer and off road some.
I am retiring at the end of September so I am all set now.

I encountered this ruby red color in a 2025 at my local grocery store just this week. Had a chat with the owner. I was surprised he had to wait a full year for delivery, which tells me that (in my area at least) there is still an ordering backlog. Honestly that shocked me. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, because Mavs are insanely popular here. They're everywhere.

But what really did me in was that I liked his Maverick in ruby red more than I like my Maverick in hot pepper red. Three years of loving my Maverick, and now it's all ruined by one chance encounter. Now I gots to have a ruby red mav.

Funny Scott LOL. I like HPR too but it isn't available on the 2026 model.

I almost bought the eruption green 8 months ago but the dealer sold it out from under me. I didn't buy this one from that dealer.
