New Maverick owner possible pic thread?

Hey guys, i just bought a 2024 Maverick XL hybrid in Atlas Blue. I am considering putting new wheels on the car as I'm not too fond of the steel wheels. I was wondering if anyone could post the after-market wheels you got and give feedback on how you think my top choices currently would look.

this would be my first choice of Wheel HD Spinout 17x7 40 Blue | SO17701440BK-BL | Custom Offsets (customwheeloffset.com)

this was my second choice Spec-1 SP-65 17x8 42 Black Blue | SP-651783242GBBLM | Custom Offsets (customwheeloffset.com)

I want to stay stock 17' wheels and I don't want a leveling kit or to do any trimming work.

I've already ordered weather tech floor mats cup coasters and sill protectors and I have found a cup holder solution for the back seat. are there any other upgrades I should be looking at? I think I will go with Weather Techs Roll top bed cover in vinyl. I hate to use the term but it's mainly going to be a pavement princess. I don't plan to have to haul much in it (maybe small furniture when moving/groceries) I am an in-home salesman for work so once I have the cover my samples will stay back there. After talking to the guy at custom offsets I am going to be going with the HD Spin outs with either chrome or black lugs.

Another option on wheels if you don't want to break the bank. That is if you like them are wheels that are factory OEM that are take offs or salvage after a totaled Maverick. Sometimes listed on the site, but unfortunately many times they aren't an option because of distance. If your interested check out marketplace and craigslist.

The nice thing at a glance many will think your truck is an XLT and it may increase resale. In most cases aftermarket wheels do not increase resale value. Of course there is always exceptions to the rule.

I don't care about resale, before this I drove a 98 ranger with 500k miles on it (I inherited it at 480k) this is just my first truly new vehicle and I plan on putting some upgrades into it. Rhino line the bed, new wheels, decals, and some 3d printed parts on the inside.

I understand. You know being your first new vehicle, another congratulations are in order. Hope you enjoy the new truck for many years, to come. In my opinion there is no comparison between the Ford Maverick vs the 98 ranger. I truly believe your going to really enjoy and appreciate your new truck. If it drives anything like my 98 did ill be happy. That thing was mint. Tbh I have spent all day looking at accessories and decals lmao

Tbh I had the choice between this and a carbonized gray XLT with moon roof. But this one is the 2.5 hybrid and the xlt was the 2.1 ecoboost... so I went with this one

I agree, I just really love the carbonized gray. But tbh the hot pepper red looks good too. Not really a bad color you could choose

I really struggled with what color to get. I agree, the atlas blue is much better in person. The metal flake is beautiful in person!

I do like the stock wheels that came with the black package. Make sure you post pictures of the new wheels installed!
