Hey Everyone, I just bought a 2024 Maverick XL, with 12k miles. Never had a truck, and don't know a whole lot about cars in general.
I noticed when I accelerate, especially at low speeds I can hear what I only assume is the engine making a light buzzing noise. I'm in a cold area, not sure if that has anything to do with it. The little research I've done seems like it might be normal for the ecoboost engine.
Has anyone else had similar issues?

My 2025 sounds like that when it's cold but goes away when warmed up in the Cold Weather. Not sure if it's the engine or transmission but hopefully nothing to worry about.

I have the same issue. 25 XLT 2.0. I assume it's extra loud injectors. Once the engine warms up, the sound completely goes away. I just call it the sewing machine until it dissipates.

I too hear the ā€œsewing machineā€ noise…especially when cold. 48k miles and still sounds the same!
It’s a known quirk discussed on this site…time for a search.
Ford did not include the soundproofing pieces between the engine compartment and the doors on the ā€˜24 XL’s (and maybe other versions I think). I have been meaning to either purchase them from Ford, or to make something myself. I just haven’t gotten around to it yet….
