Picking up a 2024 2.5 L Hybrid Lariat tomorrow. Just bought a 2024 Bronco Sport Outer Banks in January for my wife. Never owned a hybrid but looking forward to it. Have never owned a white vehicle either but at age 72 keep trying new things.

Congratulations. If mpg is your goal, you will love the hybrid. Use the brake coach and modulate your stops so you take advantage of the regenerative braking. It not only recharges the hybrid battery but reduces wear on your brake pads.

I'm in a mild climate without a lot of hills. My winter mpg which means reformulated gasoline, is consistently 44.3-44.6 mpg. It will go up 1 mpg when the summer fuel blend is released. Then, the range will be almost 600 miles per tank. I do drive with a light foot and getting good mpg is a goal.

We got our first Hybrid July 2023. (Ice and ditches don't mix well.) Picked up our second Hybrid a month ago. I loved our first one well enough to get the second. (I'm 75)
