New Ford Pass App issues

The new ford pass app does not have a way (that I could find) to show the ford protect warranty coverage for the vehicle. This was easily found in the old app.

I might be missing it - but wasn't the owners manual previously available on the FordPass app?

I can't seem to find it now.

Yes, I have the old app on my phone and the owner's manual is under Service/Reference Guides. Other useful info has also been removed. Hardly an upgrade.

Did you try closing then re-opening the app? I think I had it reporting running once when it wasn't and that cleared it up.

It is just a computer after all.

Ver 5.0.1 - which it was last week too.

Last week the OLM only showed % remaining, no estimate of miles or date of next service. (prior to my check last week it had that info but was 5.0.0)
This week that info is back.

So not related to new app code it appears - they are changing what appears in the app.
Must be fields & options ready to display if they were enabled on the back end.

They may have different app servers pointing to different backend servers - or they've tagged a subset of app users to have a different experience. I had the new app a good week before I saw news here about it.

There actually is reduced so far.
Ford released info back in March what would be missing when it finally came out.

Can you input service maintenance, or only read what the dealer has input?

Or perhaps the functions you happen to use don't seem to be missing, so nothing reduced for you.

Mine shows "parked" but I can't click on it. I thought I remember with the previous version you could click on it to see where your car is parked.

Perhaps your phone screen is too small - scroll just a tad further down to Location >

I have version 5.0.0, I uninstalled it and reinstalled. No change.

I have Ford Pass v5.0.1. Works great!

actually it fixed itself after a reboot.

How do you add diy oil services to the service history on this new version. I can't figure out how to add anything to the service history. Thanks

Didn't the old version show your current odometer reading? I only see how many miles until empty now.

You have to do online now.
