It is unbelievable how Ford let this "order, wait and hope you get one" process get so much out of control. I have ordered numerous vehicles in my life and was so simple before, order and couple months later pick it up, no worries or guessing if and when.
I ordered Dec. of 2021 and converted to a 23 model in Sept. 23. Dealer tells me he has allocations, but is a hybrid.

No rhyme nor reason. Some of us feel so bad for you that have waited so long, especially when we ordered Lariat Hybrids loaded with SIBL, etc. in Sept. of 22, and have them built in early March of 23. Even though I was lucky enough to get mine, it is NOT right, especially if the dealer has allocations. Could it be that you have a high priority number from the dealer - not a 10, but maybe a 19? That seems to have a lot to do with it.

Get rid of the soft tonneau from your order. It is a big constraint item and something you can easily install yourself aftermarket. In all likelihood, your order was probably previewed a few times when scheduling but due to that damn soft tonneau cover, Ford skips you for production due to constraints on that soft tonneau.

Thanks for the info; I thought constraint was the "trifold" and I ordered the soft fold ???

I would get rid of any accessory that you can buy after getting the truck (soft cover, spray liner, remote start*)

*With the remote start you can buy it after you get the truck and install it yourself. It is plug and play. Furthermore, you can program it to your current key so you can turn it on from the key. There are a few post on the forum but this video shows you from start to finish

Take off the bed liner!!!

The bed liners aren't as constrained as the accessorized tonneau covers. I think last time Ford announced constraints versus actual percentage ordered, the SIBL was under constraint, so theoretically that shouldn't affect the chances of you being scheduled. With the SIBL, you also get the free $225 cargo management system as a discount, so might as well order the SIBL and get the cargo management rails for free.

I recall that order bank was closed for 2022 Hybrid on Nov. 15, 2021. So, if your dealer confirmed to you that you ordered a Hybrid originally on 12/30/2021, that was a lie.

But if your original order 12/30/2021 was a non-Hybrid, then on 9/19/2022 you ordered a Hybrid for year 2023, then that would be valid.

Anyway, I would suggest like others on here to drop the soft tonneau, the rest are fine.

Tasks to do:
1) check with Ford's customer service to see if you have priority 10 and see if you have a clean/unscheduled order.

2) Check with marketing to see if you have a transitional offer.

3) Check with your dealer if your order is COVP confirmed/verified. And also check with your dealers to see if your dealer has your order at priority 10 while new orders are at a lower priority number than 10(between 11-19).

I went to the extreme and canceled; tonneau cover, remote start, bed tie downs, sprayin liner.
It has had the COVP done
It is at a 10
Will be getting private offer of $1750. (original order was gas engine)
Dealer claims he has allocations.
