Got more good news today. Truck is now built and awaiting shipment. 527 days so far. I was able to print a window sticker today. The truck is an XL Ecoboost in Cactus Gray, with full size spare, hitch, and dealer will add a bed mat.

Found out today that the truck shipped on 3/1/2024. It should be here in 3 or 4 weeks! Original order was placed on 9/20/22 and rollover order on 7/19/23.

Update from Ford yesterday said expect delivery between March 16th and March 29th. 531 days of waiting so far.

Update from Ford is that today my truck is in Kansas. That's pretty good progress so far. It shipped from Hermosillo on 3/1/24, so it's moved a lot of miles in 6 days. Hoping the last part of the trip will go smoothly.

I also originally ordered September of 2022 and still don't have a build date. 542 days I believe. They email me every 45 days telling me how sorry they are for the delay. I sort of hope Tesla or BYD drives Ford out of business in my lifetime.

I think some of you guys and gals are too fussy. I found and bought one in less than 24 hours, and it is even an FX4 which is not the most common version out there.

Now up to 542 days. Last update said the truck had made it to Atlanta on the train. About 220 more miles to Columbia, SC, and then it has to get on a truck to my dealer. Ford says it might take another week or two to get to the dealer. It's only 60 miles from Columbia to the dealer, but the truck has to have a full load before it can deliver.

As far as the remark about being too fussy, I don't think a plain XL with hitch and full size spare is very fussy. Good luck to all those still waiting.

548 days, but truck is in a railyard only 50 miles away. Should have it before the end of the month. 18 months is a long time to wait for an XL Ecoboost. Good luck to everyone that is witing!

Finally got the Maverick today! It rides and handles well. I like the cactus gray color and it is cool having a back seat. The dealer honored MSRP. The dealer doc fees were only $99.50. South Carolina sales tax was $500. My price protection discount was $1,000. In all there were $1,720 in price increases from the time of my order until my truck was delivered. In conclusion I paid $720 more for the 2024 truck. 552 days of waiting in all. Last comment for today: I like the steelies just fine!
