Took a 1700 mile drive from San Antonio to PA, and if it wasn't for Adaptive Cruise Control & Lane Centering, the drive would have been much tougher. I never knew that I would get relief from these features to the point where I wasn't having to work the changes in speed myself. Letting the vehicle perform the speed changes / breaking allowed me to get some rest from these chores.

It's a little thing, but it meant the differnece between stopping every 90 minutes vs every 150 minutes. Thank you to Ford for these features.

ACC and lane centering are really impressive. The truck can pretty much drive itself on the highway. Those features alone make the lariat lux well worth it for me
lol. I tried that until It yelled at me to put my hands back on the wheel. How does it know?

There's a torque sensor that feels you tugging on the wheel ever so slightly. To clarify, it drives itself but you still need to pay attention and keep your hands on the wheel

I agree.

ACC and Lane centering is absolutely brilliant.

My only gripe is that ACC seems to freak out when a car switches lanes in front of you. always seems to result in a sudden brake application.

That's why you'll never see me use it in traffic or urban areas...but I do use it quite a bit when I'm in rural areas.

Ford's Blue Cruise and GM Super Cruise are even better. They don't even require your hands on the wheel. IR eye sensors verify you're keeping alert and your eyes on the road.

Bummer we can't get Blue Cruise on the Maverick. I'd have paid for it (expensive).

I wish it was an upgrade for the XLT. I might have to add ACC to it on my own.

Nice! I'll be going from San antonio to Cleveland Ohio at the end of the month and look forward to taking advantage of both of those features.
