Need your help!

Sorry, I know the answer to my question has appeared in other threads but I’ve failed to find them. I have a 22 Mav that wasn‘t built and the dealer placed a new order for a ‘23. I want to add a few options to the order but the dealer claims that it will jeopardize my “price protection“. I believe she means my special offer. As I recall, this isn’t the case with minor changes. I only want to add 360 (yes, I know…) and the sliding rear window (for the dogs). Can one or more of you guide me to a dealer notice or some other proof that I can provide to my dealer? Thanks!!!

I would chat with ford customer service online https://www.ford.com/help/contact/
And ask those questions and then print out the chat and give to your dealer. 800-334-4375 is their phone number if you want to go that route.

I don't know about a dealer notice but for any unscheduled 2022 order, the dealer needed to add a new 2023 order and give you priority over new 2023 order that did not have an order in 2022. You can order the 2023 however you would like with no penalty in getting your private offer. Your private offer is tied to your 2022 order (hybrid/ecoboost). You can make all the changes you want to the 2023. I will be talking about this tonight on the livestream (shameless plug). Tell them to do a Certificate Inquiry and they will see the private offer information for you.

I wonder about the private offer... Not that it applies to me. I'm curious to know what would happen if someone ordered a '23 with the private offer (i.e. because of an unfulfilled '22 order) and they have to give up on the '23 and re-order for a '24. (Because of too many constraints, falling a fowl of dealer allocations, etc.) Would the private offer from '22 still be valid for '24? I know from the memo that was posted here that there won't be any private offers for us first-time '23 orders if we get bumped to '24.

Honestly, I doubt Ford has even considered this so I don't expect an answer. But sometimes things just make you go "Hmmmm".
