Hey everyone, so installed the new T track rails for my roll up bak x4s tonneau and bought some tie down cleats. Don’t forget to install the T track ends at the bulk head side BEFORE you mount it. Lol
My goal is to build a throw and go bike rack so I can have 2 maybe 3 bikes on top of my tonneau cover. Wheel mount or fork mount don’t matter to me. Ideally the bikes will sit long ways like in my pic. My current issue is that the tie down cleats are too tall to keep a traditional floor stand down to the cover top without building a riser. Other ideas are mounting them horizontal to t track accessories like a fork mount and wheel catch. Suggestions please! To be clear, I’m avoiding putting them in the bed, don’t want a roof rack, don’t want the elevate bars. Most ideal would be a t track compatible bike rack with the correct straight orientation, so it can sit straight back behind me up on the side of the truck bed.
Any help is appreciated thx!
sidenote, I included a pic of suggested gasket in the trim seam to keep water out!
