Apologies if this isn’t the right forum.
Got an odd rattle in the rear passenger interior
door handle. It goes away if I put a finger on it (the brown/copper part). Just touching it; not even pushing down. Any ideas? Video attached.
I padded the window switch because I thought that might be it but it remains.
Appreciate any insight or suggestions.
edit 1: pulled the door panel, removed the four screws that hold the copper part to the rest of the panel (it’s also held in with plastic rivets. Left those alone) and I was able to pull the handle away from the panel enough to slip a little fuzzy Velcro dot in between. Haven’t tested it yet but I’ll report back.
edit 2: forgot to report back. That was the issue. Quiet as can be now. I’ll post pics in a bit so they might help someone else.
edit 3: A view of my exceptional handiwork. Out of sight unless you’re looking for it. Those little Velcro dots from Ace Hardware:
