Who could I ask this question and in turn find out the CORRECT answer? Is it a fact one cannot order the manual rear slider UNLESS you purchase the Co-Pilot 360 package? I cannot imagine WHy this is the case but so far my Ford salesperson tells me it is fact and he actually doesnt understand why that is! I definitely want the slider and I now have to pay $695 to get one….and I’m not even interested in Co-Pilot features.

It's confusing. All I have to go by on this is the Build and Price function on Ford.com for the Maverick. When you do a build, if you choose XL trim, you can only get a manual rear window slider if you also get Co-Pilot 360 (in fact, if you pick XL trim and your only other option picked is the manual rear slider, the configurator automatically says you also have to get Co-Pilot 360 with it).

However, if you do a build and pick XLT trim, you can pick the rear window slider option as a stand-alone that does NOT require you to also have Co-Pilot 360. Of course if you pick Lariat trim, you get as standard equipment (500A equipment group) a power rear window slider. Clear as mud?

To sum up, if you want an XL trim, gotta get Co-Pilot 360. If you go for XLT trim, the manual rear slider can be a stand-alone option. If you go for Lariart it's a moot point, you get a power rear slider.

Not surprised your Ford sales type can't answer this, he/she probably knows less about the Maverick than you do. Why does Ford do this packaging gymnastics? Because they can. Basically, anything to push you into higher trim level or more stand-alone options. All auto manufacturers do this to varying degrees. Not surprising with Ford, ran into similar "need one to get the other" options choices when looking at their F-150's before I bought one.

One sure way to find out - if you're ok with an XLT, actually order one with manual slider but without co-pilot 360 and look on the Preview Order sheet you'll get. It should show the manual slider as the standalone option.

If you get the XL I’m sure you could get the manual rear slider from Ford or an aftermarket one and have it installed from a automotive glass shop. It’s not that hard to do.

Omg please don't come to this forum and do this. The vehicle isn't for you, and that's ok.
