Nail in tire already!!!

Took the tire and wheel to my tire store I always do business with. They dismounted the tire from the rim, install a round type plug they say needs to be installed from the inside. Remounted and re-balanced. No charge. I told them I did not buy the tires there as they came on a new truck. He said no charge, on us, have a nice day.

I asked how long the plug will last and was told it will outlive the tire so I guess 1 year will be no problem.

Is it those Continentals I think they have magnets in them I have heard so many stories of people getting nails in those tires Sorry it happened to you

Literally got a blowout flat from some sharp object or rock in my original continentals too!!!!

FIRST....time i've EVER had a flat in 22 years of driving!

Thankfully a CSO showed up with an impact which made the scissor jack work a LOT faster! ; )

Yes, I'd say I have bought all our tires there for at least 20 years. Gonna be a year or so before Mighty Mav gets her Falkens though. Gotta pay for that expensive undercoating at Vermont Auto Spa.

Yeah, that sucks. That empty feeling in your gut when you first see it. Then having to resist that almost overwhelming urge to pull it out, but you have been taught better than that. Hahahahaha.
