Folks,
Considering ordering the Permiter Plus directly from a Ford site. (Fairway). But nothing I see specially calls out compatability of the KN1Z-19A361-A part for MY2024 Mav Lariat EB. I've sent an inquiry out to Ford, but suspect it will take a bit to hear with everyone coming back from the holidays.

Ok. I'll respond to my own thread for the benefit of others with the same question.

Ford contacted me and said according to the catalog, this part is still compatible with MY2024...

I just wanted to make sure..

So if your Maverick comes factory installed with the fob controlled remote lock and unlock, is this module factory installed so the fob remote lock operates? If not, is there a different module for remote start WITHOUT impact sensor? No mention of such module in parts catalog. Does the impact sensor already operate on factory fob remote and Ford does not advertise that fact, or is not even aware of the possibility? Do you have to just install a jumper wire to activate it? This is all SO CONFUSING! So not even going to try to install it on my vehicle which has the lux
package with factory remote start until someone can assure me it is necessary.
