My New Truck

Hey all! I had (have?) A 2024 on order, but after going to the dealer and spying on some mavericks that had just come in, I decided to purchase a 2023 XL in iconic silver. I'm only home a couple hours and still riding the high (and nerves) of my first new vehicle, but I wanted to come here and say thanks for all the info! I will post better pics tomorrow, though you all know what a silver Mav looks like by now.

What I did when I got my first new one was drive to a parking lot near the dealership and spend some time messing with everything to avoid distraction on any initial trips. And of course, reading (or at least skimming through) the owners manual.

I picked mine up on November 6th. Love the little truck so far! At 60, the Maverick was also my first new vehicle. Got it fully in$ured today (ouch), and waiting on the paperwork in the mail so I can get titled and regi$terd. Thought about getting custom plates but I've spent enough, already! Acce$$ories are kinda an addiction as well! All the new vehicle gotchyas can sure add up and getchya!

I don't like driving around with dealer tags, so I'll be happy when its "officially" mine.

Agree with Montana on the familiarization process, and taking your time learning your new truck. I still am! Very different animal than my old 2002 Ranger!

Congratulations! Just picked up my 2024 Cactus Gray XL Thursday. The Iconic Silver is nice & seems to make the steelies work. Cool.

I agree! I will eventually get black rims like i planned, but I will stick these out for a while, I think!

Some 20 inch chrome rims would look real nice on that color
