My 22 Hybrid Maverick developed a very big noise coming from transmission when it hit just around 1,9150 mile. I dropped it off at dealership on January 8th check up the noise as well as the airbag recall (received the notice of recall ready letter from Ford) and oil change. A month later, the hybrid technician specialist said the transmission is broken and ford suggested them to replace the whole unit, but they do not have part available right now. Since then, MY22 has been in dealership till today. I understand there is supply chain issue, but it has been in shop for more than 5 and half months and we still don't know when it will get fixed. The service manager offered rental car and sounds try his best. Without part, he could not do anything either.
Does anybody happen to know when Ford will send out any transmission for repair?
It is a nice truck and we really like it. It sucks when you pay for all the loans and issuance, you can not drive it at all. In addition to all the problems showing across our forum, its long term reliability is very questionable. I am seriously thinking of lemoning it now.
