Well I broke down and bought a new floor jack. 37 years since I bought my Sears two ton so it deserves a rest. My son Derek will get it and he should be able to fix it with a little work.

I gotta tell you lifting my F350 dually was about all the 2 ton could handle.

The new one is a 3 ton. I wanted a 4 ton but I couldn't get one in a long reach model.

This one came from Northern Tool.... exact same jack as sold by Horrible Freight but without the color choice.

At 90#'s I am going to wait to unload it until my grandson can come over and help.

Next I will buy a light duty "racing" jack that will be a bit easier to fling around.

When I was pulling a dry van back in the 2010's I ran a dedicated freight lane for Northen Tool out of their Minnesota warehouse in Savage and their air compressor/pressure washer mfg. facility in Owantonna.

I ran south to the distribution center in SC then did store deliveries in FL and TX.

Kept me busy but my right shoulder forced me to give it up in 2010.

I couldn't get the 3-ton to lift the front end of my '22 F-350 Diesel with front hitch and grille guard, so I bought the Harbor Freight 4-ton. It is freeking heavy to say the least, but does as promised. My Craftsman croaked in the first year and was not warranted.
