I thought I would share a picture of my Maverick during our totality eclipse event. I bet there are others out there that shot a picture of their Maverick in the wierd darkness. My iPhone tried really hard to compensate for the darkness (I wish it didn't).

Nice photo!! We were out back so I didn't think to take the photo with the vehicles. Here are a few shots I got, though, with 3 min, 9 sec of Totality in NW Vermont! The sun flare shown at bottom left was actually as red as a hot coal. Very impressive!

We did have a driveway full of family, though! (Including our Maverick.)

We all have it bad. Everyone else was looking at the sun. You were looking at your Maverick! If I had mine I would too!
We are hoping for an "Eclipse Maverick". This is our build week.

I was hoping ours would show built today. (9th)
We got our email with a build date on my husbands birthday Feb 15th. It went into "production" on April 2nd which was my brothers birthday. Today is my birthday. No luck on today's build though.
We still have tomorrow, it is our sons birthday.
LOL
Reality is I just want it built and shipped!

Awesome photos! I bet your thankful to live there. We live near Keene NH and just watched google maps and the people stuck in traffic for HOURS. My daughters friend said it took them over 6 hours to get back to Keene. Usually less than 3 hours.

Completely understand.... I wish it was here already. Ordered 10/8/23 - production date 4/8/24 with an eta of 4/29/24. I'm excited to get it Lariat Hybrid, but I'm gonna miss my 19 Fusion Titanium Hybrid (trade-in car).

It was amazing to have Totality happen in our back yard!!
Many of our kids and grands came. Son who lives 45 min away took 2 hours to get home, but only because he took all dirt roads. Son and Fam who live 2.5 hrs away took 7.5 hours to get home. Son and Fam who live 4 hours away elected to stop part way and sleep at a family member's home then leave for home at 4:00am, to get the kids back in time for school. That worked fine. But, yeah, the traffic gridlock was unprecedented here!

We are trading in a 2018 Subaru Forester. The registration expires the end of the month. Hoping to get the truck and not have to pay for registration on a car I promptly trade in! Not holding my breath. Don't know my expected eta.
Just hurry up and wait!

Great photo of the solar flare! That thing looked like one of the red lights on top of a radio tower.

If you're not happy with it and it was shot with an iPhone using Live, you can edit it and adjust the exposure.
