My Ford Account???

I’ve seen several folks refer to looking forward to seeing their Mav order on their Ford account. How do you get an account? Is for existing Ford owners only? Does Ford set it up based on my order? Do I sign up myself as a new (future) owner? My order was put in on July 6th and I got the email from Ford within minutes but it made no reference to an account.

It won’t show up until you have a VIN.

You can use this once you have your VIN and order number.

I have a Ford account that I set up because I've previously owned a 2008 Ford Focus ( in the family til this year) and a 2016 Ford Focus which I am at present driving. I ordered a 2022 Ford Maverick on July 7th. I reached out today to my local Ford salesperson for my order number. He sent it to me, but said it would be a few weeks before it showed up anywhere. Tonight I looked in my Ford account and my order has not been updated to my account. Hope this clears some confusion.
