I’ve learned a lot reading this thread. Thanks! question: my 2022 battery has been doing ok so far (knocks on head for luck) I do have a flash drive (music) constantly in the usb port…would that be drawing enough while driving to help the battery charge towards 100% like using the headlights...

My Mav is named Barney, as in Barney Fife because like the Mayberry deputy sheriff it is small and spunky. (For those too young or not from the US, this was from a tv show in the sixties called the Andy Griffith Show. The character was played by Don Knotts)

thank you for the info. With the Mav so new none of the installers have much, or any, experience putting these things in. Would a brake buddy type braking system be safer from inexperienced installers?

I don’t know. The tech said they checked everything from their side and the car’s process and didn’t find what was causing the drainage

Thanks for the reply. According to the rv tech, the customer was following Ford’s process with their Escape hybrid. still had the battery die. So I’m just wondering how people who have flat towed their Mavs are doing. Maybe it’s an Escape issue but my tech was concerned about Ford’s hybrids...

I also got the email from Ford yesterday that my 1/31 hybrid build week is now moved to 2/7. ☹️

It was in the parking lot at Disney’s Fort Wilderness. I causally ran over to get a closer look without drooling or touching the precious. Had to drive 500 miles to see one by chance. 🤣 Not exactly my build but the Mav looks like my size.
