My '24 is here at last!

on 5 March 2024 i took delivery of my new 2024 Lariat Hybrid. ordered July 17th 2023, built January 2024, delivered March 5th 2024. i traded in a 2023 Lariat Hybrid because it didnt have a sunroof. so i accepted the roofless one while my '24 worked its way thru the system. i feel sorta guilty looking at posts from folks that have waited 4 or 5 hundred days for their Mav's and here i am on my 2nd one but what can i say? i've been buying my vehicles from the same dealer for some 30yrs and they bent over backwards to hook me up. they even transferred my tonneau cover from the old one to the new one at no charge while i was completing the paperwork, how cool is that?

i feel VERY fortunate to be in my 2nd Mav in less than 11 months. my really good dealer(auto nation westlake ohio) promised me every penny i paid for the '23 in trade in value for the '24 and kept his word to the letter when the new one arrived. smoothest, easiest new vehicle purchase i've ever had!

thiis one is a 'keeper' and i intend to drive the wheels off this truck. plus because i knew i was gonna trade in the '23 i didnt mod it very much, now im like a kid in a candy store while i decide which 'mods' and personizations are next

i've had a lot of different vehicles over the years but have never had one thats as satisfying as the Maverick.

So far, I've been very satisfied with my first one. I believe I got it right the first time. However, it took me over a year for just one.

'did my build date change'? no .
shipping time was almost 3 months from build date to arrival, mine shipped by train from Mexico to a depot and then by truck for 'the last miles'. i was suprised that shipping took so long but i'm thrilled to see it in the driveway at last.

not all dealerships suck. i'm very fortunate to have been able to find a dealership i can trust like this one. many kudos to the folks at Auto Nation Ford in Westlake Ohio.
