l love everything about this truck with one glaring exception - as I’m accelerating from a stop, I hear an obnoxious, loud buzzing noise that sounds almost like a vibrating piece of sheet metal. It seems to go away at cruising speed, but at slow speeds it’s unbearable. I was so excited to get this truck after waiting 11 months to for it, but I May getting rid of it after only 600 miles if it can’t be fixed. I test drove an XLT AWD and my neighbor just got his too and neither of them made this noise. Anyone else having this issue?

Maybe a loose heat shield somewhere near the exhaust?

Doesn’t sound like there is any reason to panic, just get it addressed and enjoy the truck. Awesome you got the 2023 already.

There have been reports of heat shield under the truck near the fuel line that has caused some odd sound.

I’m sure you will find it and if you don’t take the dealer for a short ride and let them figure it out.

Welocme and good luck.

I have no idea what could be causing the noise, but if it's unique to your truck it can be fixed. Hang in there, it's under warranty. PITA but fixable.

Forgot to mention - bought my Maverick from Wood Motor Ford in Jane, MO for dealer invoice. Got my private offer and a $750 Ford incentive. Paid cash for the truck and after my $500 deposit and some small dealer fees, out the door $29,616.

Hey there! I can look into your Maverick’s noise concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?
