I picked this up at a stealership in November 2023. I inquired about an XLT on their website, they of course told me it had just been sold, but they had this here Lariat on site. I wanted a Maverick anyway so I took it regardless. Mechanically it’s been trouble free, no issues. The only thing that went bad so far was the radio module went out, so I couldn’t use the radio in any capacity ( CarPlay, Bluetooth, hands free calling..) but they since replaced it so it’s back to new. I’m still averaging about 47-49 mpg per tank, going about 3 weeks between fill ups. I don’t even look at gas prices anymore. First oil change at 5k miles, then I went about 7k for the next, then after that I just went by the oil health indicator, waiting for it to get around 39, 40% health to change. Seems fine with those intervals. That’s about it, it does what’s it’s intended to do, no more, no less.

I ordered my 2023 XLT hybrid and waited 13 months to get it.

My only issues have been the software recalls (I think three different ones so far). I use Fuelly to track my mileage, and we now have three vehicles that average over 40 mpg, so gas is no longer a major household expense -

Thanks for posting. In a few days I will have had my 23 XLT Hybrid for 2 years and currently a little over 44K miles. I have not had any issues that required going to the dealership however I do have glitches in the radio/infotainment. It randomly cuts out occasionally but only lasts maybe 2-3 seconds before it comes back on. At some point when I go in for something else I will mention this since I have the extended warranty. Other complaints are the brakes being so goofy, and the door plastics scratching so easily. I probably average about 39mpg over the lifetime but I stopped tracking it a while back.

Overall I am happy with the truck and hope it lasts the 10 years and 200K miles my last vehicle did.
